The Long Lake Stewardship Committee pitched its tent at the Kivi Winter Karnival. As part of our education efforts we had many pamphlets and flyers on a wide variety of topics related to lake health - ice fishing, invasive species, septic systems, natural shorelines. We appreciated visits from Mayor Bigger, MP Mark Serre, Councillor McIntosh, lake residents, and many members of the Sudbury community. Thanks to those who stopped to chat, signed up for our LLS newsletter, or entered our draw for a gift basket!
