Thank you to Long Lake property owners who planted Sweet Gale last summer to improve their shoreline buffer zone!! There was a terrific response from LL residents to the city's plant offer. Naturalized shorelines are important!
LONG LAKE STEWARDSHIP is the voting member and voice for Long Lake on the Greater Sudbury Watershed Alliance (GSWA). GSWA hosted an excellent Road Salt Panel Discussion in February. The next event is a Septic Social, an opportunity to learn more about sewage treatment systems and their maintenance. We hope this is of interest to all in our watershed!
