SHORELINES are the 'Ribbon of Life' because that's where 90% of all lake & river life is born, raised, and fed. A naturalized shoreline is considered best. Maintain - or plant - a buffer zone of native vegetation to slow erosion, provide food & shelter for fish & wildlife, and protect your property & investment. And interestingly . . . they are less work than 'hardened' shorelines’!

All those interested in helping to Stop the Spread of milfoil in our lakes are invited to MILFOIL MADNESS on April 11 at the Lockerby Legion @ 6:30 p.m. Hosted by the Greater Sudbury Watershed Alliance (GSWA).
